FIFA announced the draws for the forthcoming season of the FIFA Club World Cup, and according to it, Paris Saint German have been allotted Group B and Manchester City are kept in Group G. The reigning champions will face Juventus in the group stage of the tournament; whereas, Chelsea will lock horns with Flamengo. City, who took down Fluminense to win the tournament for the first time in 2023 will aim to defend their title. They will play against Morocco’s Wydad as well as UAE’s Al Ain. 

Chelsea, who won the tournament in 2021, were drawn alongside Mexico’s Club Leon and Esperance Sportive de Tunisie in Group D. Their first match will take place against Leon. Moreover, as per the draws, Inter Miami have been kept in Group A, where they will be up against Al Ahly, Palmeiras and Porto. Notably, the forthcoming season of the tournament will be  a revamped edition, which will feature 32 teams and take place every four years. The official draw took place in Miami, and Italian football legend Alessandro Del Piero conducted the event.
