The IPL 2024 retention list of all 10 teams has been a hot topic in the trade of the cricket fraternity and with that, the released players list from a few of the franchises has been very surprising to see despite their good (or) decent performance in the 2023 IPL season. 1. Wanindu Hasaranga:
Wanindu Hasaranga in the last IPL season was bought for a huge price of 10-plus crores but managed to pick only 9 wickets in 8 games. After the IPL season, he played an integral role in helping Sri Lanka to qualify for the 2023 World Cup finals, but with several injuries, he faced a lot of setbacks. Considering the skill set possessed by Hasaranga he could have been retained by RCB.
