The footballing world was sent in shock and surprise as Cristiano Ronaldo officially joined the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr on a two-year deal. Ronaldo has signed a contract till the summer of 2025 and is reportedly set to make $200 million per year to make him the highest-paid player in history. This move comes after the 37-year-old controversial exit from Manchester United, where he openly criticized the club in an interview with Piers Morgan.

Since then, the Red Devils decided to terminate his contract, making Ronaldo one of the biggest free agents on the market.
