Former Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon made a bizarre revelation involving legendary Paris Saint German star Lionel Messi which left many shocked. The Spaniard was all set to join Union Merlin after reportedly passing medical test in Berlin, but the club called the deal off at the last moment citing their limits. Meanwhile, Isco is currently a free agent after Sevilla decided to terminate his contract just four months after roping him in.

Isco confessed in 2013 that he named his dog 'Messi' because Messi and his dog both are best in the world. Much later, Isco revealed that it was his brother and father's idea to name the pet Messi. "I am clearing my hands with the reports of naming the dog. I am a Madridista and that's that. I don't walk him anymore, imaging me calling him Messi in the streets," he was quoted via Metro.co.uk.

According to reports, former Los Blancos star's agency has accused Union Berlin of backing out of the deal and changing terms of the contract. Isco was already in Germany earlier this month, where he reportedly underwent a medical with the club ahead of a proposed move to the Bundesliga. However, the contradictions from a previous agreement between the two parties, led to end of talks.
