Former UFC Lightweight champion Charles Oliveira offers to train Mark Zuckerberg for cage match against Elon Musk

Just days after Elon Musk received offers from MMA stars Jorge Masvidal and Sean Strickland to train him, Charles Oliveira, the former UFC lightweight champion and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, has offered to train Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a hypothetical clash against Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

The offer came after Musk jokingly challenged Zuckerberg for a mixed martial arts fight on Twitter, following a dispute over the metaverse. In a light-hearted exchange on Twitter, a user jokingly warned Musk about Zuckerberg's Jiu-Jitsu skills. 

To everyone's surprise, Musk tweeted: "I'm up for a cage match if he is lol." Zuckerberg joined the banter by posting a screenshot of Musk's tweet on his official Instagram account, boldly captioning it, "Send me location." Musk didn't hold back either, announcing the location for the fight as the famous Las Vegas Octagon, known for hosting legendary battles.

Oliveira, who recently lost his UFC title to Beneil Dariush at UFC 289, saw the exchange and decided to intervene. He tweeted: "Hey @finkd! Let's train together man. Get ready! Count with me. I'm going to Vegas, and we can start training”.

UFC President Dana White took social media by storm after revealing in an interview with TMZ Sports that the billionaires were serious about fighting each other. It is still unclear whether the fight will happen or not but it has certainly sparked a lot of interest and debate among fans.
