Notably, the 34-year-old has not been in action since her third-round exit at Wimbledon this season and is currently ranked World Number 52 in the WTA rankings. According to a report published in German tabloid newspaper BILD, Angelique Kerber is eying 2024 Paris Olympics as her return in the game.
The former world number one is already an Olympic medallist. She participated in 2016 edition of the Olympic Games held in Rio, the year she won both the Australian Open and the US Open.
