The Fortnite Ballistic Mode is making waves on the internet, filling fans with excitement for the new first-person shooter mode. This mode is a first-person 5v5 shooter where players play as attackers or defenders. Launching in early access on December 11, the goal is to plant or stop a device called the Rift Point in this new mode. Check out everything you need to know about Fortnite Ballistic mode. 

What is Fortnite Ballistic Mode?

Ballistic Mode is a team-based mode where 5 players compete against another team of 5.

  • Attackers try to plant a Rift Point device on the map.

  • Defenders stop them from planting it.

If one team is fully eliminated, the other team wins the round. Teams switch roles after six rounds. The first team to win seven rounds wins the match.

Key Features

  • No Respawns: Once you’re out, you wait until the next round.

  • Credits System: Earn credits by defeating enemies or completing tasks like planting the device. Use credits to buy gadgets like grenades or shields.

  • Items Carry Over: If you survive a round, you keep your weapons and items for the next.

Where Can You Play Ballistic Mode?

During early access, players can only play on one map called Skyline 10. Epic Games plans to add more maps, weapons, and items in future updates.

  • Casual Mode: For fun, unranked matches.

  • Ranked Mode: For players who want competitive challenges.

How to Play Fortnite Ballistic Mode Early

Early access for Fortnite Ballistic Mode begins on December 11 at 2:00 PM GMT (which is 7:30 PM IST). You can play it through the Fortnite launcher, just like you do with Battle Royale or Lego Fortnite.
