Few days after Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest in a game against Cincinnati Bengals, renowned American model Emily Ratajkowski has hit out at NFL via a social media post over the shocking incident. Notably, Hamlin was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the field during Monday’s game in a scary moment.
The NFL star was given CPR on the field and was immediately transported to the hospital on oxygen but with a pulse. Following the incident, Monday Night Football was put to halt, with players on both sides appeared overwhelmed with emotion over the incident. The game was temporarily suspended after the incident and players returned to the locker room after discussion between coaches.
"The replacement norms will be applied prospectively and retrospectively for those players who otherwise would have qualified for an award but for the application of race based nowms,” NFL said in the statement they released.
Meanwhile, reports have confirmed that Hamlin has shown miraculous improvement on his way to recovery. Reportedly, doctors have confirmed that he was awake, breathing and was able to communicate through writing.
