The Delhi Capitals have worn black armbands today to pay respect to the demise of the two young Delhi Capitals fans. The tragic incident took place after the match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the fans were returning home in a motorcycle. The two fans, identified as Yagya Bhatia (20) and Abhav Bhatia (14) were the fans who met with the accident. They were traveling through Ashok Nagar, their motorcycle was struck by a speeding truck in a hit-and-run accident. The gesture by the Delhi Capitals fans is widely appreciated by the viewers as they are considering the entire community as one. Such a tragic incident has happened over the years and the acts of the franchises have been truly commendable.

The incident really shook the fans as such incidents are unforeseen. The Delhi Capitals have just added to their existing sorrows as they were already facing a dip in form. They have only won one game out of their last 6 matches and their form has been dipping ever since. They will be looking forward to securing a win against the Rajasthan Royals as they have to get back on track if they are to contend for a spot at the top of the table. Axar Patel and his men will try to win this match and dedicate it towards the unexpected demise of the fans.

Starc’s return boosts bowling as DC seek revival against in-form Royals

The Delhi Capitals will be aware of their past performances as they haven't been upto the mark. Their opposition on the other hand has been in a tremendous run of form and has even defeated the table toppers, Punjab Kings. It wouldn't be an easy task for the side as their batters disappointed them last time out as well. Even more than the batting, they would be concerned about the bowling as they couldn't even defend a total of 265 against the Punjab Kings. The fans themselves have been going through an emotional rollercoaster over the past few games and they will be hoping that their side will impress them this time out.

Mitchell Starc is set to feature for the side for the first time in this season and it will be a valuable addition to their bowling unit. The form of Auqib Nabi has been concerning for the side as he hasn't been consistent with his performances. On paper, they are a tremendous pace attack with so many big names but they will miss out on Lungisiani Ngidi and that will be a huge void. The management will be hopeful that Starc can cover this void and deliver some match-winning spells for the side.

The challenge against the Rajasthan Royals is not going to be easy with the kind of form they have been in but at such times, the Delhi Capitals will need to step up. KL Rahul will be the player that their batting side will be dependent on as he has been consistent. The arrival of Mitchell Starc will take a lot of pressure off the other bowlers as he could deal a good amount of damage. The fans will be hoping for a quick turnaround for the Dehi Capitals to revive their season hopes.
