The Rajasthan Royals elected to bat first in the game against the Delhi Capitals and they would have regretted the decision at first. Their most prolific batting pair Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed within the first two overs and they were in a spot of bother. Mitchell Starc and Kyle Jamieson were brilliant as they worked well together to dismiss the dangerous opening pair. From there on, Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag stitched together a magnificent 102-run partnership and that shifted the momentum back to the Royals.
At this stage of the game, the Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag has put them in a fine position. His half-century proved to be a very impactful one in the context of the game and he has laid the foundation for a powerful finish. They still do have plenty of batting to come down the order with the likes of Donovan Ferreira and Shubam Dubey. They will be hopeful that they can reach a dominant total to have the upper hand over a star studded Delhi Capitals batting unit.

The Rajasthan Royals are at 130/3 after the 14 overs and they are looking to get a big total on board. They still do have some firepower to come down the order and the Capitals will be hoping that they can chip away with a couple of wickets at the death.
