Supermodel Georgina Rodriguez paid tribute to her boyfriend, iconic footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in a special way at the Paris Fashion Week Fall 2024 on Friday, March 1. Rodriguez walked down the ramp in the Vetements Womenswear Fall/ Winter 2024-25, where she wore a special dress, replicating Ronaldo’s Manchester United jersey. The dress had Ronaldo’s name on the front, along with the iconic number 7.
The red-coloured dress had short sleeves and a body-hugging fit that got loose at the bottom. Rodriguez paired the dress with black shoes, which could be seen as she took each step forward. What made the dress more special was the fact that the Portuguese football international signed it on the front as well as on the back. Ronaldo wrote on the shirt , “To Vetements” on the front, while “For the love of my life Gio x Vetements” on the back.
The dress was an example of ‘blokecore’, which is a blend of sports fashion with urban attire. The fashion house, Vetements, Rodriguez walked down the runway for started in 2014, and is a Swiss luxury and ‘design collective’. It was founded by Georgian fashion designers Demna Gvasalia and Guram Gvasalia.

Talking about Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr captain received a one-match suspension for making an obscene gesture during one of the Saudi Pro League matches. After Nassr’s 3-2 win over Al-Shabab, Ronaldo made an inappropriate gesture that seemed to be aimed at the Al-Shabab fans. Ronaldo was handed the suspension by the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) Disciplinary and Ethics Committee. Not only this, but the 39-year-old will also have to pay a fine of 20,000 Saudi Riyals.
