Spanish defender Gerard Pique and pop star Shakira were seen storming out of a law firm in Barcelona. As per reports, the duo and their lawyers are in discussions to try and reach an agreement on their separation and custody of children. The Barca star and the singer have been together for 11 years until announcing their separation earlier this year as the defender was caught having an affair with another woman according to El Periodico.
The couple also confirmed their separation through their PR agency. The agency also released a statement about the separation saying, "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy."
Also, as per the YouTube show 'Chisme No Like ', Shakira made a multi-million separation agreement offer to Pique, which was rejected. In the offer, Shakira reportedly would receive full responsibility for their two children and move to Miami with them. Whereas the 2010 World Cup winner will not have any financial responsibility for the children and he would get fully-paid travel to Miami five times per year to visit the kids.
The singer has also reportedly presented an opportunity where the children will spend the summer with their father. The biggest part of the offer was that Shakira even cover 20% of Pique's debt, which has come under Spain's legal scanner.
