Rahul Dravid, who is admired as "The Wall" turned 52 on January 11. The star cricketer was always known for this quality technique and calmness on the pitch. His nickname "The Wall" defines his dependable character when the team needs him the most. Dravid scored over 24,000 runs in international cricket and captained the Indian team for a brief period. He played a major role in helping Team India to win the 2024 T20 World Cup series. Born in the year 1973, Dravid made his cricketing debut in 1991 for Karnataka and established himself as the most consistent batsman. Later in 1996, he made his debut in ODI and Test cricket against England.

Besides ODI, Dravid's Test cricket career has been quite inspiring, because of his ability to stay at the crease for extended periods. During his 16-year Test career, he faced a staggering 31,258 balls and spent over 44,152 minutes at the crease, which is a record. His ability to withstand the most difficult challenges and wear down bowlers made him a key player in India's victory.
