The defending champions Gujarat Titans are having a dream run in the Indian Premier League (IPL). After winning the title in the debut season, the side has continued their winning run in the tournament as they beat MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023 opener and then later went on to beat Delhi Capitals by six wickets on April 4 (Tuesday).

 

After their win over DC on Tuesday, the players who are celebrating the holy month of Ramadan opened their fast. In a great gesture, GT skipper Hardik Pandya also joined the players - Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad for their Ramadan sehri. Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan took to social media to share this brilliant gesture of their skipper.

 

“SEHRIIII with skipper So nice of you to join us,” Rashid captioned the post with red-heart emoji.

 

Fans also did not stop from reacting on Hardik Pandya’s brilliant gesture. While one hailed the beauty of India, a few others lauded the skipper for his camaraderie and  gesture. 


After their second consecutive win in the ongoing IPL 2023, the defending champions now sit at the top of the points table with four points and with a Net Run Rate of 0.700. The Hardik Pandya-led side will now travel to Gujarat for their next match. They will lock horns with two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders on April 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
