This IPL season has been dominated by constant discussion around the Mumbai Indians captaincy saga as the five-time champions named Hardik Pandya as the captain replacing Sharma.
Since this decision, Pandya has faced constant criticism from the fans and several reports about Ro hit Sharma possibly leaving Mumbai Indians. It's Rohit Sharma's call where he wants to go: Ambati Rayudu
“It's Rohit Sharma's call where he wants to go. All the IPL teams would love to have him as the captain. He'll go to a franchise that maybe treats him better than what has happened here," Ambati Rayudu told Star Sports.
I don’t think it’s the case anymore: Rayudu on whether teams fear RCB
Coming back to the MI vs RCB contest, Rayudu had some thoughts on whether Bengaluru still instils the same fear it used to in the past. The Hyderabad star expressed that in the previous season, RCB were a great team but this team they haven't been up to the mark.
He said, “When you’re playing against RCB, and you see them all pumped up, you tend to get your best cricket on that day. It happens, and also there has been a case where even if you play at your best, teams like RCB, back in the day, can beat you. I don’t think it’s the case anymore.”
