Australia Champions captain Brett Lee was seen signing autographs following the second semi-final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 against South Africa Champions, played at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground on July 31. In the intriguing semi-final, Australia Champions fell one-run short while chasing the target of 187. Dan Christian’s unbeaten 49 off 29 and Peter Siddle’s four-wicket haul went in vain as Australia’s campaign in the tournament ended with this loss. Discussing skipper Lee’s performance in the match, he took 1/24 figures in his three-over spell.

Following the game, Lee was spotted signing jerseys of fans who spectated the match. In attendance, a little India Champions supporter also recorded his presence. The kid was sikh so Lee joined his hands and said, “Hi Bhajji, Sat Sri Akaal.” In return, the fan also replied to the 48-year-old with his joined hands. In the T20 tournament featuring legends, Australia Champions got eliminated after their defeat against the Proteas but the most successful bowler in the competition is the Aussie side’s Peter Siddle, who took 11 wickets in six wickets at an economy of 7.10.
