Defending champions England's journey in 2023 World Cup has been very disappointing with just two wins games in eight matches so far. England lost their opening match against New Zealand and won their second match against Bangladesh in Dharamsala by 137 runs but post that victory they went onto lose five games in a row against sides like Afghanistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India and Australia before getting their second victory against Netherlands few days ago.

Here, in this article we will see how England can still qualify for Champions Trophy 2025.

For England to qualify for the Champions Trophy, England should ensure at least two other teams end below them in the points table of the 2023 World Cup.

England can end this tournament with a maximum of three wins in the points table if they win their final match against Pakistan.

- Assume England win their final match against Pakistan and get their third victory in 2023 World Cup.

- Sri Lanka with only two wins will definitely stand below England, if England goes onto beat Pakistan at Kolkata on 11th November.

- One among Bangladesh or Netherlands should lose their final match of 2023 World Cup to remain at two wins in 2023 World Cup and stay below England in the points table.

If all these above three points happen, then England will qualify for 2025 Champions Trophy.
