The Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bangalore are having a miserable season so far in the Women’s Premier League 2023. The Bangalore-based lost their fifth match in a row on Monday (March 13) against the Delhi Capitals Women in a nail-biting thriller at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy.

With three more matches left for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women before the Playoffs, in this article we’ll talk about all possible chances on how the franchise can still qualify for the Playoffs despite losing five back-to-back matches.

There remains a slim chance that the Bangalore franchise can still qualify for the Playoffs. For that to happen, the Mandhana-led franchise needs to win all its remaining matches, with a possibility of them finishing third but not first or second.

Also, they will now rely on MI Women and DC Women to win their respective matches against Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz. In another case, Gujarat Giants will need to beat UP Warriorz for RCB to come up in the five-team points table.
