Former India opener Virender Sehwag shared a hilarious anecdote at an ICC media event, where the schedule for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 was announced. Sehwag was talking about Team India's discussions before the high-pressure World Cup game against Pakistan and revealed how the key point of discussion would be how many tickets will the players give to their friends.

Sehwag said, "The only discussion we had before the match against Pakistan was, how many tickets we need to give to our friends." India and Pakistan have played each other on seven occasions where the Men in Blue have won every game.

Earlier in the panel discussions,  Virender Sehwag also jokingly asked BCCI secretary Jay Shah for more tickets through the World Cup. He had said, " I hope Jay Shah gives me more hospitality tickets for World Cup Final this time."

The former India batter was also heard joking about how these India-Pakistan games help create more content for his social media accounts. Sehwag has been famous for the hilarious tweets and memes he shares on platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Hence, the Delhi native said, " I  am excited about India - Pakistan so that I get some social media content as well."
