The final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, May 26. Although the BCCI are yet to finalise the prize pool for the IPL 2024, the winner of the title could get ₹20 Crore, while the figure might be ₹13 Crore for the runners-up if they continue with the numbers from the last season.

As the premier franchise T20 tournament in the world, the IPL has seen a manifold increase in its prize pool since its inception in 2008. With the tournament getting bigger and better every year, the BCCI are expected to increase the prize pool further in the coming seasons.

Apart from the winners and the runners-up, the team finishing in third place in the IPL 2024 might receive ₹7 Crore, while the fourth place team could be in line to get ₹6.5 Crore. There will also be a plethora of awards for individual players in the batting, bowling, and fielding side of things in the IPL 2024.

Moreover, Sunrisers Hyderabad reached the final of the IPL 2024 after defeating Rajasthan Royals in the Qualifier 2 by a big margin of 36 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Kolkata Knight Riders got the summit clash of this year’s tournament after getting the better of their final's opponent during the Qualifier 1 by eight wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
