The 2024 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is less than five months away, and as we near the day, the anticipation and excitement among fans are increasing. The 2024 edition of the tournament will make history with 20 teams participating for the coveted title, with Uganda making the debut.
A total of 55 matches will be played across nine venues in the USA and the West Indies. India will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign on June 5, as they lock horns with Ireland. It will be followed by a clash against the arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on June 9.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 tickets go live
The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the tickets for the forthcoming tournament on February 1, Thursday.
- To give a fair chance to fans to apply for tickets, the ICC has kept a public ticket ballot in operation. The ballot isn’t based on the first-come basis system, and applicants would have an equal chance of winning tickets within the seven-day window.
- Fans would be able to apply for up to six tickets per match, for as many matches as they want during the ballot period until 23h 59 Antigua Standard Time (1053 hours IST) on February 7.
- The tickets have been priced from $ 6 (₹498)to $25 (₹2075), to ensure their availability to the majority of fans.

Cricket lovers who want to watch the 29-day celebration unfold live will be able to book their tickets at tickets.t20worldcup.com. Here’s the step-by-step guide to booking tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
- Visit tickets.t20worldcup.com on your browser.
- Fans would be directed to the waiting room, where they would be asked to enter a captcha code. They will be redirected to another waiting room, which they will be required to enter within five minutes. The window will close after a given time.
- An ICC window will appear, where fans will be asked to register themselves and create their account.
- Upon successful registration, fans would be directed to the ticketing window, with two separate tabs for the USA venues and the WI venues.
- Click on the specific window to reserve your tickets; for example, if you want to watch matches at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua or Barbuda, click on the said tab.
- In the next steps, you will be required to select the number of seats and preference of the area.
- Proceed ahead to book and confirm seats within one minute. Fans will receive a confirmation mail once done.
