Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu and HS Pannoy are all set to lead the Indian contingent at the Badminton Asia Mixed Teams Championships 2023. The badminton tournament is all set to take place in Dubai between 14-19 February 2023.
The two players are currently the highest-ranked Indian badminton players in women and men’s singles, respectively. While 2022 Commonwealth Games champion PV Sindhu is ranked seventh, HS Prannoy is eighth in the latest world rankings.
Alongside HS Prannoy is Lakshya Sen along with the Men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chiraj Shetty. Along with the French Open champions is doubles pair of Krishna Prasad G and Vishnuvardhan Goud P.
Meanwhile, joining PV Sindhu is World No. 32 Aakashi Kashyap, who finished the CWG 2022 in the quarterfinals. Along with them is the doubles pair of Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly, along with Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Castro making the second pair.
