Pakistan cri cket team is not having a good time at the T20 World Cup 2022. They are at the brink of getting knocked out if a few results go unplanned. Meanwhile, their fans back in Pakistan seem to have given up on the team as they are busy asking questions that don’t concern cricket. And former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram is surely not liking these questions.
It reflected in his response to a question asked during a live show. A Twitter user named Rana Irfan wanted to know why Mohammad Rizwan wears a lip balm when none of the other players do so. “Why Rizwan keep wearing the lip balm when not even a single player from any other country is wearing it? Just to show off? @wasimakramlive please answer,” asked the user.
To this, Akram gave a furious reply. As the anchor of the show The Pavillion read the question for Akram, the former speedster was visibly frustrated as he said, “This is such a random question. It doesn’t even (concern cricket). Cricket ki isme baat kya hai. Aine hi velle baithe ho saare, itne faarik ho aap log? I can’t answer this crap.”
Although Akram did not answer the question, the user got his answer from other users who explained to him that it’s sunscreen used to protect lips from getting damaged.
Coming to Pakistan and Mohammad Rizwan, the Men in Green finally registered their first win of t20 World Cup 2022 as they defeated the Netherlands in their third game. After inviting the Netherlands to bat first, Pakistan bowled the opposition for 91, setting a target of 92 runs for themselves. Pakistan then chased down the total with seven wickets remaining to keep their qualification hopes alive.
Mohammad Rizwan played a handy knock as the wicketkeeper-batter scored one shy of a half-century (49 off 39 balls). Fakhar Zaman also chipped in with a 16-ball 20. Meanwhile, Babar Azam (4 off 5 balls) failed yet again.
