United Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the CSE 2023, on April 16, Tuesday, which saw Donuru Ananya Reddy securing AIR 3. Reddy, hailing from the Mahabubnagar district of Telangana emerged as the topper of the women’s category of one of the toughest exams in the world. Since the results have been out, Reddy has appeared in several interviews, and in one of them, she has revealed who her inspiration has been.
In one of the videos going viral on social media, Reddy could be heard saying which prominent figure has inspired her, and it is none other than iconic Indian batter Virat Kohli. The youngster revealed how the former India captain has been an absolute source of inspiration for her and which trait of the cricketer has been a guiding force in Reddy’s success.

In a video, she could be heard saying, “Virat Kohli, he is my favourite player and I think there’s a kind of inspiration and never give up kind of attitude he has. The discipline and his work is a major takeaway from Virat Kohli, that’s why he is inspiring.” Since uploaded, the video has gained several likes and comments from cricket and Virat Kohli fanatics.
Speaking of Kohli, the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper has been a part of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. While Kohli has been in form, RCB hasn’t been able to win games, except one, in the 17th edition of the cash-rich league. The Bengaluru-based franchise has been sitting at the bottom-most spot in the standings.
