Mumbai Indians are taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash at Wankhede Stadium. SRH are coming after achieving a record chase of 246 runs in their last game against Punjab Kings. The main highlight of the match was Abhishek Sharma’s fiery 141-run knock as SRH made big run chase look like a cake walk. Now, during the toss of their ongoing match against MI, SRH skipper Pat Cummins said that Abhishek might be still looking at the highlights from the previous game.
MI skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and put SRH to bat first. When was asked about is he was looking to bat first, Pat Cummins said “That's fine. It looks a pretty good wicket. Same side. I think Abhi is still looking at the highlights (*laughs*). But we had a nice break, couple of practice sessions and here we are, five days go like that. I don't think so (reverse swing playing a big part), certain venues.. Hyderabad because it is dry and it will be even tough (to get reverse) as we go along in the tournament as the dew comes in.”
SRH look to score big against MI
Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl first in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. “We are going to bowl first. I think it is a lot to do with the dew, last night there was dew and always at the Wankhede it is better to bat second. Same side. Everyone knew we had to give it all and that made us close,” Hardik Pandya said at the toss. Both the teams didn’t make any changes in their line ups from the last game.
