Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. recently spoke about his future at the club saying that he wants to stay at Madrid for a long time. Although his current contract runs on until 2027, there have been some rumours about clubs from the Saudi Pro League looking to lure the Brazilian with a move away from Madrid. When questioned about his future at the club, Vinicius replied, “I’m very calm because I have a contract until June 2027 and I can’t wait to renew it.”
Vinicius, who came to Madrid from the Brazilian club Flamengo, has played 300 games for the Galacticos scoring 102 goals and providing 76 assists till date. The Brazilian who went on to don the iconic number 7 jersey after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo said that he trusts the club and its management. He said, “Florentino Perez trusts me and I trust him. I trust everyone at this club and I’m here to do everything for them”, referring to the Real Madrid President.

Vinicuis Jr. reiterated the fact that he was hoping to stay at the club for a long time, hoping to achieve big things with Los Blancos. He said, “I want to make history here at Real Madrid and become legend of the club.” The Madrid no.7 has had a good start to this season forming a formidable attacking partnership with Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo and has 29 G/A across all competitions.
Real Madrid will be preparing for a cracking fixture coming their way in the round of 16 of the Champions League. They will host local rivals Atletico Madrid at the Bernabeu tonight for the first leg. Vinicuis Jr. will have a lot of eyes on him to deliver a good performance for his team tonight.
