England have ended this 2023 World Cup on a high note by defeating a side like Pakistan by 93 runs in their final game with the help of stunning fifties from Jonny Bairstow (59), Joe Root (60) and Ben Stokes (84) while David Willey also in his last ODI game managed to pick three wickets. 

Initially, England winning the toss , opted to bat first and almost eliminated Pakistan by doing so from the semi-finals race. Thus, the morale of the team went down in their final game of this tournament and just managed to finish at fifth position in the point table just above Afghanistan.
