One of the big names in the UFC circle, Conor McGregor has been out of the Octogen since last 15 months. The Irish MMA star on Thursday confirmed his return to UFC in the first half of 2023 in his latest video doing rounds on social media.
The 34-year-old who still has to undergo six months of drug testing and provide two negative results before his comeback in the ring, confirmed the news of his return in his Instagram live. McGregor suffered a leg injury in his defeat against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 and has been out of action since then. Although his return is yet to get a final nod from the MMA authorities, UFC’s new signing in Hasbulla Magomedov has already issued a warning for the Irishman.
The 20-year-old young sensation, who reportedly maintains a close relationship with Conor McGregor’s foe Khabib Nurmagomedov has now opened up about the UFC star.
In his interview, Hasbulla opened up on meeting The Notorious. The Irishman had earlier trolled the young star for his short stature in a series of tweets. Although, t he string of tweets were later removed from The Notorious’ account, they went viral with Hasbulla also reading them.
The 20-year-old who was born with a form of dwarfism has now opened up on this. “He’s not like a fighter for me, I don’t respect him as a fighter”, said Hasbulla. “If I meet him, I will cause some problems for him”, he added further revealing that he is not sure of what he’ll do to him.
When asked further of how’ll he’ll respond to him, Harsbulla quoted, “I’m not gonna talk with him and if I see that he wants something, I’ll dismiss him”.
