The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 (PMWC 2026) is just a few days away, and the world's top 32 PUBG Mobile teams are set to battle for the championship in Paris, France, from 6 August. This year's tournament is especially exciting for Indian fans as BMPS 2026 champions GodLike Esports and Orangutan will represent the country on the biggest PUBG Mobile stage.

The tournament organizers have now officially revealed the Group Stage groups, giving fans a clear picture of the road ahead for both Indian teams.

PMWC 2026 Group Stage Format

The tournament will be played across three stages:

  • Group Stage

  • Survival Stage

  • Grand Finals

During the Group Stage, all 32 teams have been divided into Group A and Group B, with 16 teams in each group. Every team will play 12 matches, and their performances will determine whether they qualify directly for the Grand Finals or move to the Survival Stage.

With only 12 matches to prove themselves, every point will be important from the very first game.

Orangutan Placed in Group A

India's Orangutan will compete in Group A, where they will face several regional champions and experienced international teams.

If Orangutan can maintain that momentum under the leadership of Aaru, the Indian squad has a realistic chance of securing direct qualification to the Grand Finals.
