Indian middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav has been impressive on most of the occasions. The new Mr. 360 in the world cricket has left everyone in awe of his unique batting style which includes the ability of scoring maximums runs all-around the park. The maverick batter currently bats at number 4 for Team India and widely regarded as someone who perfectly craft his innings according to the situation.

The 32-year-old has been a dependable player for the team and the management will be expecting better show from the batter in upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.  Ahead of the ICC tournament, Team India is all set to take on the defending champions in the shortest format of the game in three-T20I home series starting from September 20 in Mohali. While Suryakumar Yadav has already touched down in the city to kick start his preparation for the highly anticipated bilateral contest, he got candid with Times of India and spoke at length about his batting approach and many other aspects.

The Mumbai batter revealed that he walks into the ground with a positive mindset and try to accumulate as much as energy in his body and mind to read the game well. "When someone gets out, I try to run towards the pitch. In those 30 or 40 seconds, I get warmed up as well and the game plan starts ticking my mind," he told TOI. The batter claimed that he analyses the field situation and looks to stamp his authority over the bowler.

"Intention is very crucial. If we are 4 down at 50, then I can’t just walk in and start hitting. But if its 150 for 2, you have to go in and maintain the temp. My mantra is simple, play the format and situation and if there’s to hit, go for it, irrespective of the pitch," he added.
