Opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the second consecutive season in IPL 2025. Ahead of the much-awaited season of the cash-rich league Gaikwad sent a strong message to all the other nine teams and made a clear stance regarding someone sledging his teammates in the upcoming season.

Ruturaj Gaikwad said that he is okay if the opponent sledges him but also mentioned that he is not going to ‘hold back’ if someone tries to sledge his teammates and will definitely give him a response. “If someone sledges me, I am more than happy to not say anything – but if I am the captain and if someone is sledging at my teammates, then I am not somebody who can hold back,” Gaikwad was quoted as saying by CricxTasy.

CSK aim for 6th title in IPL 2025

The upcoming season of the IPL is expected to be a big win for Chennai Super Kings and their legendary player MS Dhoni.
