After four weeks, 62 games, and 163 goals, we have two teams standing one step from the elusive World Cup trophy. Two giants of international football - France and Argentina will lock horns in the final which will be hosted by the Lusail Stadium. In the semi-finals, Les Bleus registered a 2-0 win over tournament surprise Morocco. While the Argentines ran through Croatia and won their semi-final fixture 3-0.
Dayot Upamecano could still be ruled out of the final after missing the semi-final against Morocco making space for Ibrahim Konate. While Adrien Rabiot will be making a return to the team after missing the previous game.
Argentina's only injury doubt is Papu Gomez, who missed out on the semifinal win over Croatia with an unspecified issue. While Marcos Acuna and Gonzalo Montiel will back in the squad after completing their 1-game suspension.
The French team has been at their dominating best and so far has been successful in avoiding the World Cup champions curse. But there have been moments where Les Bleus have looked vulnerable. France definitely has one of the best offensive weapons in the world -Kylian Mbappe, who is nearing a magical golden boot run. The midfield and defence have used their immense depth to possibly be the first to defend their title in nearly 50 years.
