Rewa Jaguar’s Akshat Raghuwanshi scored a scintillating 42 runs off 14 balls on the MPL 2026 6th match against Bundelkhund Bulls at the Holkar Stadium on Saturday. His explosive strike rate of 300 included four fours and four sixes, and earned him the Maximum Sixes and Maximum Fours awards of the match.
Winning the toss, Rewa Jaguars opted to bowl first. Ramveer Gujar wreaked havoc as he dismantled Harsh Gawali in the second ball and then the captain Abhishek Pathak in his next over of the spell. Bundelkhund Bulls had no answer to the frequent interval of wickets falling, getting bundled at only 74 in 15.2 overs. Ramveer Gujjar, Sagar Solanki and Rohit Rajawat gave an excellent performance with the ball. Coming down to bat, the Jaguars made the chase look like a cakewalk as Akshat Raghuwanshi unleashed the beast, taking on Omkar Nath in the second over, hitting him for 28 runs. He was unfortunately dismissed by Shivang Kumar, but Prithviraj Singh Tomar continued from there, giving Rewa their first victory of the season by 9 wickets. Rewa Jaguars are currently at the top of the MPL 2026 table with the highest NRR.
Who is Akshat Raghuwanshi?
