Since his debut in international cricket, New Zealand Devon Conway has been nothing short of a sensation. It was on Wednesday when the southpaw stepped in to open for New Zealand in their ongoing first Test against England at Lord's, and showed the world why he is rated among one of the best newcomers in international cricket.

Even after losing his opening partner Tom Latham at the other end, Conway continued his gritty knock to register his maiden century in the format, that too on his debut. The hundred first saw him become only the third visiting batsman after India's Sourav Ganguly and Australia’s Harry Graham to score a ton on debut at Lord’s. However, during the course of his innings, Conway broke Ganguly's 25-year-old record of registering the highest score on debut at the 'Mecca of Cricket'.
