In a crossover for the ages, 2011 ODI World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh was driven around the Miami International Autodrome by a two-time F1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen during the Miami GP 2024 festivities. The third Grand Prix at this Florida city saw McLaren driver Lando Norris clinch his maiden F1 victory by finishing ahead of the defending champion Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
But before the main race, Yuvraj Singh was spotted posing with the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 trophy, NBA's Larry O'Brien Trophy and the Miami Grand Prix Trophy at the grid. Alongside this moment, the former world champion, Mika Hakkinen was joined by Yuvraj Singh as the duo drove around in the Mclaren P1.

"I can't drive like this," Yuvi told a smiling Hakkinen as the Finnish great to P1 to its limit. Soon, a frightened Yuvraj was heard saying "I feel my coffee is coming out," before bursting into laughter. Then at the end of the lap, Yuvi seemed quite impressed by the McLaren as he said, "Now I feel like I would go back and buy this car."
I never didn’t believe in what I could go out and do: Lando Norris
Coming back to the race-winner, Lando Norris was extremely emotional as he reacted to his maiden F1 win. Speaking to the media, the British driver said, “I never lost faith, I never didn’t believe in what I could go out and do. So happy to put that to bed and prove a lot of these people wrong, because as much as I love to see it and I go on Instagram and I like all the comments of people abusing me, I freaking love it, it makes me smile more than anything, especially ‘Lando No-wins’.
“For me to finally prove those people wrong and prove to people that didn’t think I could go out and do it, it’s put an even bigger smile on my face today. So I thank all of them.”
