Australia posted a big total off 255/4 on day 1 of ongoing 4th Test with the help of brilliant Test hundred from opener Usman Khawaja and he was very well supported by Cameron Green at the other end. Among Indian bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin drew the first blood by dismissing Travis Head while Shami managed to pick two wickets and once again Ravindra Jadeja bowled Australia skipper Steven Smith.

Usman Khawaja's patience has reaped him many rewards in this Test match as he became the first Aussie batter to smash a hundred in this four-match Test series against India so far.
