India is all set to lock horns in the series decider on February 1 (Wednesday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. With the series currently levelled 1-1, there is a big news coming from the Indian camp. It is being reported that Indian opener Shubman Gill is likely to be dropped from the final match of the series after he was dismissed at the score of 7 and 11 in the first two T20Is.

With the Indian opening pair of Shubman and Ishan Kishan both under the scanner after failing to score big, Prithvi Shaw is likely to be called in for the final T20I.


The two Indian openers who are in a purple patch in ODIs have averaged close to 15 in the shortest format of the game. A lot of things will be looked at going into the final T20I of the series, with India’s record of twelve consecutive home series win in line.
