Following the washout in the first T20I, South Africa will be playing against India in the second fixture in the three-match series at the St George’s Park in Gqeberha. The Proteas haven’t competed in international cricket in the last four weeks or so, while the Indian cricket team have been winning more matches in the T20I format recently.
While the Proteas Men were to kick off their home summer of cricket in Durban, but persistent rain in Durban resulted in the opening match of the series and tour being called off without toss. However, both teams will be hoping to play a full 20 overs a side match when they take on at the St George’s Stadium in Gqeberha.
Looking forward to the second game of the series, the weather in Gqeberha also does not look pleasing. The weather here also is likely to experience some showers with 75-80 per cent cloud cover throughout the day. Talking specifically of the day, there lies an 84 per cent probability of precipitation, it gets down to only around 10 per cent in the night.
Talking about the temperature, it will drastically drop from around 21 degrees Celsius to 14-15 degree Celsius in night. However, seeing the probability of rain decreasing to a drastic level, it brings a welcome sign for fans to watch full 40 overs of cricket.
