For the first time since 2019, the India Gaming Show (IGS), country's largest gaming convention is returning offline this year at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The fourth edition of the highly-anticipated gaming convention, which is backed by the Indian government, is scheduled to take place from February 16-18, 2023.

The India Gaming Show 2023 is an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), providing a platform exclusively to showcase gaming and animation. The 2023 convention is based on Defining New Frontiers - The Future of Gaming in India theme and will feature a session filled with exhibitions, cosplay shows, international conferences, esports events, awards among others.

Following the hearty reception it received for the launch event of Valorant’s Indian agent Harbor in Mumbai, Riot Games announced on February 13 to make its debut at the India Gaming Show 2023. Additionally, Indian esports tournament organizer Jet Skyesports will also organise the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 in the IGS 2023.
Riot Games Marketing Lead of South Asia Ashish Gupta said, "We are thrilled to be a part of India’s largest gaming convention, which is returning offline for the first time post-pandemic. With thousands of gamers and gaming enthusiasts expected at the India Gaming Show, we aim to deliver memorable experiences to our players, fans, and the larger Indian gaming audience."
Meanwhile, Skyesports are set to bring India’s first-ever all-female Valorant LAN event, Skyesports Luna in the IGS 2023. The organisers stated, "Entry to the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 will be free for everyone."
