FULL-TIME: After all the struggles, NorthEast United finally get the much-needed points as referee blows his whistle. It is SC East Bengal 1, NorthEast United 2.

[90'] Are we in for another drama at Fatorda? That's because 5 minutes have been added on for injuries and stoppages in the second half.

[87'] GOOAALL!! Sarthak Golui. The man behind the Own Goal appears level headed here as he pulls back one for the Red and Gold Brigade. While the goal has given SC East Bengal a hope, it is Subhashish Roy, who will be disappointed. NorthEast United goalkeeper came far off his line to collect free-kick. Assist - Surchandra Singh. SC East Bengal 1, NorthEast United 2.

[84'] YELLOW CARD for Ankit Mukherjee. Another SC East Bengal defender is in referee's books for the night.

[80'] Following the drinks break, NorthEast United have slowed down the tempo of the game. However, SC East Bengal are exerting all the energy they can to win the ball possession back.

[73'] SUBSTITUTION for NorthEast United. Imran OFF, Rempuia ON.

[71'] RED CARD! Raju Gaikwad. Following a yellow earlier, the defender is this time shown second yellow for bringing down Deshorn Brown, his marching orders sum up the East Bengal's game today.

[61'] SUBSTITUTION for SC East Bengal. Chhetri OFF, Chandam ON.

[55'] OWN GOAL! Sarthak Golui. The game takes turn for the worse for SC East Bengal as their defender's misfired clearance turns into a fantastic volley for NorthEast United. The mistake was forced following a cross from Nim Dorjee, which the defender tried to kick out, but instead hits an Own Goal. So, it is now SC East Bengal 0, NorthEast United 2.

[53'] MISS!! The Highlanders miss on doubling the lead as Deshron Brown misses 1v1 against Mirshad. However, the Jamaican fails to make most of the opportunity and hits wide.

[48'] GOOOAAALL!!! Suhair VP. NorthEast United have drawn the first blood at Fatorda Stadium. Finally, the efforts to get past the SC East Bengal defence have succeeded with a brilliantly worked move. It all starts from Imran, who plays a through ball from outside the box. His pass takes a deflection and falls generously to Suhair, who drops his shoulder, beats the marker and slots it calmly. So, we have our first goal of the game. Assist - Imran. SC East Bengal 0, NorthEast United 1.

SECOND-HALF: NorthEast United get us underway in the second half. They are in White, playing from left to right.

[45+1'] ANOTHER YELLOW! This time it is the full-back Scott Neville.

[45'] YELLOW CARD for Raju Gaikwad. SC East Bengal defender goes in referee's books after he complains to referee about Machado's movement. 3 minutes added to the regulation time.

[37'] Referee displays best of his leniency as Ajay Chhetri of SC East Bengal, and Khasa Camara of NorthEast United are not cautioned despite bringing down opponents in unfair manner.

[30'] OFFSIDE! NorthEast United execute a clever set-piece routine that sees Deshorn Brown getting at end of a looping cross. It is followed up by the Jamaican who takes a leap to head it, but the flag rises in time. Drinks break to follow.

[24'] The Red and Gold brigade nearly get the opener with a set piece opportunity from throw-in. It is Raju Gaikwad who is on the duty and he throws it deep enough in the box towards the far post, but no one is there to head it home.

[16'] The Highlanders again get the control of the game and manage to win another corner. However, the set piece opportunity is again squandered. We are yet to witness a clear cut chance in the contest.

[11'] SC East Bengal manage to get time on ball and even progress forward, yet fail to create a goal scoring chance. Fowler's men are not able to showcase the much-needed efficiency in final third.

[5'] It is the men in white who have dominated the first 5 minutes of the game. They have more possession, even created a half-decent chance that resulted in corner. Although, they failed to make most of it as SC East Bengal defence cleared it.
