Manuel Marquez’s side will certainly be on their toes as a very tricky situation has unfolded. They need a win to qualify but a loss or a draw would crash their chances of a playoff berth. Spaniard Aridane Santana was in glorious form for Hyderabad but he received his 4th yellow card of the season in the last game. He would thus miss the all-important quarter final against Goa. But another Spaniard, Fran Sandaza is in the pecking order to perform. He has to perform for Hyderabad to stand a chance against the mighty Goa.
FC Goa heaved a sigh of relief when he eclipsed past Bengaluru FC last weekend, 2-1. They just need a draw or a win to safely seal their place in the playoffs. Their defense has been under the scanner for sometime and that might be exploited by Hyderabad. In their reverse fixture against Hyderabad FC last December, they won 2-0. Igor Angulo and Ishan Pandita netted 2 late goals to take Goa home.
