Preview:

Delhi and Rajasthan are all set to face each other for the second time this season in the 58th match of the Indian T20 League. Their last game against each other ended in a controversial fashion, where the 2008 champions won the game by 15 runs after a contentious decision that did not go in favour of Delhi. While Rajasthan enter this game after defeating Punjab, Delhi were thrashed by Chennai in the previous fixture.

Analysis:

Rajasthan have been among the best teams in the tournament so far. Their batting is led by orange cap holder Jos Butler with Devdutt Padikkal and Sanju Samson who have also scored crucial runs. Whereas Yuzvendra Chahal as the Purple Cap holder leads the Rajasthan bowling with support from Trent Boult and Pradisdh Krishna who have been consistent.

Delhi have been an amazing team with great players in all departments but suffered a humiliating defeat against Chennai. The opening partnership of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw has put up big runs at an incredible rate. But the absence of Shaw has put a lot of pressure on other batters. The form of Rishabh Pant will be a cause of concern. In the bowling department, Kuldeep Yadav has been a revelation as he is fourth in the Purple Cap race along with quality performances from Khaleel Ahmed. More would be expected of Shardul Thakur.
