On Sunday, November 26, the Indian batting lineup posted a massive score of 235/4 in the second T20I of the five-match series against Australia at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The Men in Blue, who hold a 1-0 lead in the series after defeating the Australians on the last ball of the first T20I, are well placed to push the visitors firmly on the backfoot with three matches to play.
Each of the top three in the Indian batting order, including the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ishan Kishan notched up fifties against a decent Australian bowling attack in very good batting conditions. Rinku Singh provided the finishing touches with a quick-fire 30 odd to help India nearly reach 12 runs per over in their innings in spite of the three wickets from Nathan Ellis.
