What will MI look for in IPL 2022 Mega Auctions?

MI management will first look to get back Trent Boult who has helped MI to win matches on his own. MI and CSK are teams that do not like to make a lot of changes in their playing XI so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Quinton de Kock and a few other players back in the team as well. Another thing that MI has been known for all these years is for grooming youngsters and helping them get into the Indian team and they would look to do the same this time as well.

Players who will be MI's radar

1. Deepak Chahar: This man has never disappointed the fans and the management of the team. He has been a very important asset to the team. While he has predominantly been used as a new ball bowler, he is gradually developing the skill to bowl at any stage in the game. Can bowl in the start of the innings, middle and death as well.  Chahar more often than not succeeds in picking up a wicket in the power play which is very important as it gives the team an early lead in the game and a sense that they can restrict the opponents to a low score.

2. David Warner: It might be a bit surprising to see David Warner in MI, but it would be something the fans would love as well. Although Warner was not in the best of form in the last edition of the IPL, fans we were treated with a Warner MasterClass in the T20 World Cup 2021. In addition, Rohit Sharma and Warner at the top would make MI a dangerous opening duo- one that could life difficult for the opposition.

3. Vicky Ostwal: With not retaining any spinners MI will be on the look for young spinners. Vicky Ostwal has shown his worth it in the recently conducted under 19 world cup where he managed to pick up a wicket in every single match except the finals. His figures also included a match-winning fifer against South Africa. MI would love to get him in and train him to the best level and make sure he gets into the Indian team.
