Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) once again failed to make an impact as they lost to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2022 and their quest to win the maiden title ended then and there. Nevertheless, the Bangalore-based franchise will hope to correct the wrongdoings of last year and it will start with the IPL 2023 Mini Auction.

In fact, it has already started with teams releasing and trading players before the auction takes place on 23 December in Kochi, Kerala. As the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked all ten franchises to submit their retention list by 15 November, the teams are in the final stage of announcing their squads before going into the auction.

Reports have suggested that RCB have released David Willey and Siddarth Kaul. Karn Sharma and Akash Deep are also on the verge of being released. Meanwhile, Jason Beherendorff has been traded to Mumbai Indians.

So, here is the squad of RCB ahead of the IPL 2023 Mini Auction
