Punjab Kings (PBKS) are coming with almost a completely new team in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025. Having last qualified for the playoffs in 2014, PBKS will be looking to change their fortunes in IPL 2025. PBKS will also have Shreyas Iyer as their skipper for the upcoming season, who led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to the title last year. They will kickstart their IPL campaign with a match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 25.

It will be the 18th edition of the IPL which is set to begin with a match between Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens on March 23. Total 10 teams from different cities will lock horns to get their hands on the title on May 25. Total 74 matches will be played throughout the season including 70 matches in the league stages. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs stage of the tournament.
