The Indian Premier League 2022 action is just a few days away from now and the buzz on social media has already kicked off in some style. With David Warner moving to Delhi Capitals during the mega auction, the Rishabh Pant led franchise has become one to watch out for considering the kind of entertainment the Aussie brings to the table.

And guess what, the fans have already got a glimpse of what to expect from Warner and DC going ahead! On Tuesday, the 35-year-old shared a photo of himself in Delhi Capitals jersey which the franchise had posed on their official website. Since the Aussie has not had a photoshoot with the team yet, it looked like DC had morphed his face on the body of some other player which made it look slightly funny.

As expected, Warner was not going to troll his franchise for the same. He wrote in the caption, "Is my head on @marcusstoinis body?? ?? #funny #cricket @delhicapitals" suggesting that he looks quite bulked up, like his Aussie teammate.

This is when Delhi Capitals responded to Warner and told him that it was not Stoinis. "It's not Stoin ? Hint: The player is still with DC ?," they wrote in the comment section.

As Marcus Stoinis has joined Lucknow Super Giants now, the DC supporters started to speculate who the DC player was, on whom Warner's face was morphed. It took some time for netizens before they came to a common consensus that it could be Anrich Nortje since he has a similar body and he was the only overseas player retained by Delhi Capitals, which might fit the hint given by franchise.
