The highly-anticipated Asia Cup 2022 will see a battle between Asian countries fighting it out in order to prove their supremacy. While Team India will be in the quest to defend its Asia Cup title and register a historic hattrick of lifting the titles, Pakistan is likely to pose a formidable challenge to Men in Blue.

The Men in Green have been in terrific form lately and much of its credit goes to their skipper and top-seeded batter Babar Azam. The 27-year-old top-order has emerged as a force to reckon with and has led Pakistan to some historic victories, with him becoming the first Pakistan captain to beat India in a World Cup fixture in the T20 World Cup last year.

Babar is currently among the top-three batters in all formats and Pakistan cricket fans will expect highly from him when his side will take on Team India on August 28 (Sunday) in Dubai.

Ahead of T20 Tournament, New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris has claimed that it is going to take a special delivery to dismiss a batter like Babar Azam in the upcoming Asia Cup, citing his stellar batting form.  While speaking at Sports18 show 'Sports Over The Top', Styris explained that he is not sure of how to get Babar Azam out as the Pakistan batter has not shown any weak signs in the recent past.

"I think what you would say if If India could win, any team could win, any team could say I’ll give you 16 Babar Azam and then you are out. They would take it every day of the week. He i that good. He has hardly displayed any weaknesses," said Styris.  The retired New Zealand cricketer further suggested the bowler be brave and try their special delivery which they have been working on to stun the batters.

"If you will try to keep him at the other end and get the batter on strike dismiss, that won’t work with Babar Azam. He is the number one batter because he knows how to rotate the strike and when to keep it. You have to show your brave side with him and take a little risk. Try that magic delivery because if you get wrong it can go out of the park but if you got right, you will get a big man. It’s going to take a special delivery to get somebody like him out in the form that he’s in," added Styris.
