Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul continued his great form in the ongoing IPL 2025 as he went on to play another big knock in the ongoing season. The right-handed batsman went on to score fifth hundred of his IPL career as DC posted a total of 199 runs for the loss three wickets in their 20 overs against Gujarat Titans in match number 60 of the season at Arun Jaitlley Stadium in Delhi.
Coming to bat first after losing the toss, DC lost their first wicket at the score of 16 runs in 3.2 overs, as Faf du Plessis got out after scoring just five runs. After that, KL Rahul and Abishek Porel put up a partnership of 90 runs for the second wicket. Porel got out after scoring 30 runs off 19 balls hitting one four and three sixes. After that, skipper Axar Patel joined Rahul at the crease as the duo added another 45 runs before Patel losing his wicket after scoring 25(16) runs with one four and two sixes.
After that, KL Rahul took the innings further and went on to complete his hundred in just 60 balls. The opening batters remained unbeateon on 112 run off 65 balls hitting 14 fours and four sixes. After this, the fans came up with different reactions on social media praising Rahul for his commendable knock against GT.
GT now need to chase 200 runs to confirm their spot in the playofffs of IPL 2025. GT's win will also help Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings to confirm their place in the top four.
