While the influencer-turned-boxer and the MMA artist didn’t trade any blows at their most recent fight press conference, the same cannot be said for their security staff. After a lively press conference which saw the two fighters face up against each other, tensions flared, but it wasn’t until the two were separated before things actually blew up. Both fighters’ security staff pushed and punched the other contingent before breaking out into a fight on stage, ensuring chaos. The fight was broken up before it really turned ugly by the remaining security staff who were not involved as they pulled the two sides apart.

The cause of the situation was Nate Diaz’s comments during the presser. The MMA artist referred to one of Jake’s security staff members and brought up an altercation between the two of them in the past. While it is not known for certain if this particular individual was involved in the fight, it did set off tensions between the two camps. When the fight eventually broke out, Nate Diaz didn’t seem to be rattled by it. After all, this is a man who has seen far worse, including a war of beverages against Conor McGregor in 2016 when Diaz’s camp threw bottles of water at Conor McGregor’s entourage who later responded by throwing soda cans in Las Vegas.

During the presser Diaz said, “You know who the bully is? That bouncer right there who I smacked with a beer the last time he thought he was tight. I f******* smacked that b**** in the face. That’s who the bully is. F*** him, f*** you, and f*** MVP.”

Recently Jake was critical of Nate Diaz’s apparent lack of trash talking and stated that he was upset that the fighter wasn’t doing much to promote their fight, so the YouTuber was happy that Diaz was throwing shade.

“Let’s go. I like it,” Paul said. “Nate’s alive. We woke the beast up. Let’s go Nate. I like it. Talk your s***Nate. Talk your s***.”

Paul claims Diaz’s team tried to claim assaul t

Jake Paul recently took to social media to say that Diaz’s team was claiming assault against his security staff since one of their members had to get stitches following the on-stage brawl.

Diaz has not responded to this. Although, during the broadcast, he said of the brawl, “There’s no need to get disrespectful and talk a bunch of s***. I’m a competitor here. He’s a little f***** and that’s what I’m dealing with and that’s what I’m going to deal with. Whatever comes with it, I signed up from the start for a full blown war. I’m good with it.”

Jake Paul will face Nate Diaz on August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
